Located along the beautiful Cornish Coast and boasting access to some of UK’s finest beaches, this festival is renowned for its commitment to the global Surf community whilst throwing one hell of a party for its guests! With Sponsors from Quicksilver and Roxy to Corona, Vision Nine approached Decordia whilst looking for a Creative Manager to design it’s Watergate Bay Site.
Working with the events Creative Director, the team at Decordia bought into his vision for the show and stayed true to the Boardmasters brand to produce a well considered, end-to-end approach for the sites final theme and decoration.
Throughout the process, Decordia came up with brand-orientated ideas that utilised practical design, using well-practised solutions that covered construction, build and site delivery. Supporting the Boardmasters team even further, Decordia used a fully-trained, well-oiled team to install the decor that was already owned by the festival, finishing it off nicely.
Our favourite piece to date has to be the ‘BIG B’ pictured here, as well as bespoke ‘information pillars’ and supporting features for the ‘Keg & Pasty Pub’, in true Cornish fashion!
We’re looking forward to next year, having already been invited back to take on more of a challenge, using a larger team to produce even more creative decor!
Now this one was a blast from the past. We love these types of projects at Decordia - where nostalgia meets new customer experiences and experiential innovation!
Little Lion, the organisers for the live, play-along version of the hit 90’s TV show first approached Decordia to come up with some quirky ideas for the Industrial Zone. Rather than just manage the build, render and source props, the relationship quickly evolved into something much bigger.
In the end, what started off as a small project ended up turning into 3-months of poly carving, painting, rendering across multiple zones to produce what is now one of the best features of Manchester’s best and well-known outings, currently sitting at #3 on Tripadvisor!
Applying all our experience with materials to produce a budget-friendly solution, the design ideas that were produced by Decordia meant that we became the go-to scenic team for the game. Our favourite challenge here had to be creating the sun-soaked canopy in the Aztec Zone and assembling over 3000 pieces of greenery for the climbing ceiling! Once the sand went in, it felt like the real deal.
Destination Snowbombing. Located way way up in the beautiful, picturesque Zillertal Valley, Snowbombing has been leading the way in fun-in-the-snow festivals for the millennial generation since the beginning.
Decordia has been working with the team at Snowbombing Festival since 2015, designing, producing and installing decor to compliment the brand transformation Broadwick Live have recently designed. Originally the festival had quite a ‘sporty’ look; wanting to move away from this the team at Snowbombig have now produced an experience that is fun, inclusive of the location and a little more ‘festivally’ for the guests.
Alongside Broadwick Live, we lifted the epic re-brand onto the site, making sure it’s new creative positioning featured prominently, whilst not losing any of the fun we had developed in recent years. As of now, Decordia now oversees all of the brand installs, on-site decor as well as sponsor support and brand activations.
